The MediaTek Helio G36 processor was announced on February 13, 2022, as the processor comes with modest specifications made for lower-class phones. The MediaTek Helio G36 processor comes with a 12nm process technology of Tamani type, with two cores divided into 4 Cortex-A53 cores at 2200MHz and 4 Cortex-A53 cores at 1800MHz. It is accompanied by a PowerVR GE8320 GPU with a frequency of 680MHz.
MediaTek Helio G36 supports 1600MHz LPDDR4X RAM, 2x 16-bit data bus with a maximum size of 8GB, and supports eMMC 5.1 storage. The processor can support phones that use 4G networks and do not support 5G networks with a download speed of up to 300MB and an upload speed of up to 150MB.
