The WhatsApp application has become available for smart watches Wear OS

The WhatsApp application is now officially available for smart watches running the Wear OS system. A BETA version was previously released for a few months, and this time it was released in a stable and complete form.

To install the application on watches running Wear OS and use it, you must have a smart watch with Wear OS version 3. The application allows you to start new conversations directly, send voice messages and reply to messages with text, use emojis as well, and receive calls from the watch directly. There is also support for quick replies. Naturally, if your Wear OS 3 smartwatch has a mobile data connection (LTE), then you can do all this without your phone being nearby and connected to your watch.

It is interesting to see that this application is being launched now, exactly one week before the big Unpacked event from Samsung, during which the Korean company will announce the new Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, which may work with the (Wear OS 4) system.

What was it like when the Galaxy Watch 4 was announced with OS 3, anyway, Google also announced back in May that Spotify will launch a new Tiles for the Wear OS application this year, so we hope that it will be launched soon to introduce some additional attractiveness into the world of third-party applications for the Google Smart Watch system.
